Memang betul, ada products atau pelan takaful yang duit kita tak dapat balik. Maksudnya, kalau tak claim, duit akan dimasukkan dalam tabung tabarru' (derma).

Tapi ada banyak plan yang  menawarkan pelbagai pilihan untuk client ada peluang untuk dapatkan semula sebahagian caruman bersama dengan pulangan.

Secara kesimpulan mudah, saya ingin menasihati masyarakat di luar sana, bila berbicara pasal takaful atau insurans, pastikan info yang diterima adalah tepat. Bukan main andaian sahaja.

UPGRADE LIMIT MEDICAL CARD ANDA HARI INI

LIMIT CARD LAMA RM60K JE SETAHUN! SAYA NAK UPGRADE BOLEH TAK?


Ini antara persoalan yang biasa ditanya oleh pemegang medical card. Samada sendiri punya ataupun coverage under company.



Ada yang aware tentang ini dan ada yang tidak. Bila ada agent yang tanya baru tahu. Ada yang mula sedar bahawa medical fund tu penting sebagai ikhtiar untuk backup kalau emergency perlukan kos rawatan yang besar dan segera. Ramai yang mula sedar harga kos medical saban tahun meningkat.


Berbalik pada soalan yang ditanya, ada beberapa perkara asas yang perlu kami sebagai agent tanya balik kepada client / pemegang medical card tersebut.


1. Ada sejarah penyakit samada sebelum ambil medical card yang pertama atau pun selepas?


2. Pernah tak claim sebelum ni? Gunakan medical yang lama atau under company? Maksudnya pernah tak masuk ward. Tak kisah sama ada claim medical card atau tidak


3. Berapa coverage yang sedia ada? Berapa balance pernah claim?


4. Kalau pernah claim, atau masuk hospital atau dapatkan apa-apa rawatan, apa jenis sakit dan apa rawatan yang diambil? Adakah masih under treatment atau Dr kata dah fully recovered? Adakah penyakit tersebut boleh berulang menurut Dr?


5. Dah clear soalan² diatas, baru saya akan tanyakan apa client punya expection atau requirement.


Dah tahu semua 5 perkara penting baru la mudah untuk bagi proposed solution samada:


1- Buat switching (tukar plan baru). Ambik baru then stop yang lama tapi Term condition applied.


2- Ambil yang baru, maintain yang lama


3- Ambil yang baru, high deductible (follow on top of limit medical card lama), maintain plan medical yang yang lama


4- Ambil yang baru, lower deductible (ambil deductible bawah sikit dari limit medical card yang lama) dan maintain plan yang lama.


5- Ada banyak option lain tapi ini 4 yang famous.


Kenapa jangan terus simply stop yang lama dan ambik yang baru. Takut² nanti yang baru belum matured atau ada exclusion, yang lama pulak dah stop. Kesian ke client.


Ada beberapa solution lain. Yang nak tahu boleh tanya di ruangan comment, kita sama² bincang.


Medical card memang tak penting kalau kita ada duit backup yang banyak untuk tanggung kos rawatan. Tapi kalau anda ada duit banyak sekali pun, kalau diberi pilihan dapatkan rawatan bukan semua pakai duit kita, kalau pakai pun maybe kurang sangat berbanding jumlah keseluruhan kos rawatan...
